Mission of the institution

The Institute of Public Administration of Navarra (INAP) is part of the Department of Presidency, Justice and Interior of the Region Navarra.

Objectives and tasks of the INAP are

  • Consultancy
  • Research
  • Teaching and development for the public sector
    • seminars and training courses for civil servants of Region Navarra and the government of Navarra but also for other administrations (local administrations, municipalities, etc.)
    • in different areas, such as Public Management, Legislation and Procedures in the Public Sector, European Legislation, European Procedures, Financial Management, Customer Service Improvement, Communication, the Digitalisation of Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Equal Opportunities and Multicultural Diversity, Improving the use of the information and communication technologies,  etc.

The language service is part of the Institute of Public Administration (INAP). Our aims are related to the INAP’s general aims, but concerning languages.

Activities

Amongst other activities, we offer language training in those 4 languages.

Relationship with CNAI:
INAP/SVIICC organises language training courses for civil servants. INAP has an agreement with CNAI so that CNAI will provide personal staff, digital resources, etc. to carry out these language courses.

We are working together in setting up new methods of language training. We have different types of courses:

Target group, number of students

Nowadays, 2007-2008: (rough amounts) English learners (more than 900), French learners (more than 200), German learners (more than 50)

Methods of e-Learning used

Blended learning courses in English, French, German, provided by CNAI.
